Job summary

AT&T is hiring a Senior Product Development Engineer to lead research, design, and development of network technologies from concept to launch. You will provide technical direction, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with market needs.

This role requires advanced interdisciplinary knowledge, autonomy, and frequent interaction with senior leadership, with onsite work in Bothell, WA or Plano, TX.

Qualifications

• Experience in product development and testing.
• Quality assurance, testing, and quality management capabilities.
• Ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements.
• Strong process management to support disciplined delivery.
• Advanced interdisciplinary knowledge for complex issues.
• Ability to lead moderate-sized projects or parts of larger initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product development lifecycle from concept through launch, balancing schedule, budget, quality, market needs, and strategic objectives.
• Provide technical oversight to validate feasibility, functionality, scalability, testing, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate delivery, documentation, and reporting across engineering, marketing, sales, manufacturing, and other teams.
• Monitor market trends and competitors to shape development strategy and specs.
• Engage customers and stakeholders to understand needs and guide improvements.
• Continue to refine technical expertise and drive innovation.
