Job summary

AT&T is seeking a Lead Member of Technical Staff in Residential Gateway Operations Engineering to shape autonomous operations for broadband service assurance. You will design scalable software platforms handling telemetry, build AI-enabled workflows, and drive automated remediation across millions of gateways.

You will collaborate across engineering, product, and operations to improve platform reliability and customer experience, leveraging cloud-scale analytics and AI techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (CS/CE/SE/EE/Data Science).
• Strong software and systems engineering experience building large-scale distributed applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software platforms that ingest and act on telemetry from millions of devices.
• Build AI-enabled applications and workflows using LLMs and agents.
• Create analytics and automation to identify defects and abnormalities before incidents.
• Develop automated root cause analysis correlating data across ecosystems.
• Design and implement automated remediation with minimal human intervention.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, software, operations, and vendors to improve reliability and customer experience.
• Drive strategy and architecture for autonomous operations platforms.
