Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee complex construction projects across our Austin, TX operations. You will manage planning, budgets, schedules, and quality standards while coordinating with engineering, project controls, and site teams.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic space environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of on-site project management, coordination, facilities management, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, P6 Primavera, PMWeb, Smartsheet.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
• US citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects.
• Providing field oversight and assistance, and creating a customized schedule.
• Negotiating contracts with General Contractors and subcontractors.
• Development and management of all project documentation.
• Review compliance with state and government regulations and ensure project or site location follows all guidelines.
• Developing short and long term schedules, phasing and sequencing strategies.
• Implements Safety, Quality, and Ethical Standards in accordance with Company policies.
• Performs site visits and monitors progress of construction activities with regular status meetings.
• Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Approves all invoices and manage the billing process.
