Job summary
Blue Origin seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead construction projects at its Central Texas Facility. You will drive planning, budgets, schedules, and coordination with internal and external teams from concept through completion.
The role requires PMP certification, 8+ years in construction and quality inspection, and ability to operate on-site in a demanding environment while reporting to executives and ensuring safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- PMP certification required.
- 8+ years of work experience.
- Experience leading construction and quality inspection teams in hybrid matrix environments.
- Proficiency with CMMS software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to walk construction sites, climb stairs, and work in adverse weather.
- Experience writing for and presenting to executive audiences.
Responsibilities
- Initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing construction projects.
- Developing project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Collaborating with stakeholders.
- Documenting requirements and risks.
- Reporting progress, KPIs, and issues.
- Creating RFPs and SOWs.
- Reviewing contracts (AIA) and assisting in negotiations.
- Site visits to monitor contractor progress.
- Reviewing invoices and change orders.
- Enforcing safety with EHS and leadership.
