Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for the Boston Scientific site in Quincy, MA. The role involves assisting the Executive Chef, coordinating kitchen activities, and supervising cooks and food-service staff to ensure quality and safety.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–3:00 pm, with opportunities for growth within Eurest. Applicants should have sous chef experience and familiarity with corporate foodservice standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sous chef in a foodservice/kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service staff including scheduling, payroll, training and reviews.
• Stores food in designated areas following safety procedures.
• Ensures proper food handling, presentation and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans work areas.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and communicates details to staff.
