Compass Group USA Eurest division in Manassas, VA is hiring a full-time Sous Chef working a 5:00 pm to 5:00 am shift, including weekends. Culinary and leadership experience are required to lead kitchen staff and ensure high-quality meals for the Micron site.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including scheduling, payroll, training, and performance reviews.
• Stores food in designated areas following sanitation procedures.
• Ensures proper food handling, presentation, and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils; keeps area clean during service.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Explains menu items to associates and customers.
• Monitors peak production and service hours.
• Tracks inventory and deliveries; informs supervisor when supplies are low.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
