Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an EPC Project Manager to lead utility-scale solar and related projects on a full-time jobsite in Newbern, AL with travel.

You will oversee planning, budgeting, buyouts, scheduling, risk management and reporting to ensure project success. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with owners, subcontractors and design teams while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Field construction management experience (5-8 years).
• Ability to lead remote, diverse teams.
• Strong computer skills including Bluebeam Revu; CMiC a plus.
• Knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Understanding of scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating.
• Understanding of PV plant construction, interconnection sequences, and travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage self-performed scopes with large labor crews.
• Develop safety plans and implement safety procedures.
• Oversee billing to maximize cash flow and manage pay cycles.
• Present and negotiate change orders with owners.
• Negotiate subcontract and material purchases.
• Ensure timely buyout, shop drawing approval and material delivery.
• Maintain project schedule and cost forecasts.
• Coach and supervise project team, mentor staff.
• Review contracts and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with Owner, Architect and Subcontractors.
• Manage risk with mitigation plans.
• Quality management and site-specific plans.
