Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an EPC Project Manager to lead utility-scale solar projects from planning through closeout. The role is based full‑time on a Plymouth, NC jobsite with travel, reporting to project leadership and coordinating with owners, subcontractors, and the SOLV team.

The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years of field construction management, strong leadership, and solid PM control knowledge, including scheduling, cost control, and procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.
• 5–8 years field construction management experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage diverse teams remotely.
• Proficient with MS Office; knowledge of Bluebeam Revu; CMiC a plus.
• Solid understanding of contract law and project accounting.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage self‑performed work scopes with large labor crews.
• Develop and implement safety plans and procedures.
• Oversee project billings and optimize cash flow; monitor aged receivables.
• Present and negotiate change orders with owners.
• Negotiate subcontractor and material purchases.
• Establish site procedures to ensure timely buyout, approvals, and deliveries.
• Keep project on schedule and ensure timely reporting (costs, EAC).
• Mentor and supervise the project team; ensure contract compliance.
