Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks an EPC Project Manager to lead utility-scale solar projects on a full-time site in Alabama, coordinating planning, budgeting, buyout, and risk management while providing leadership and technical guidance across the project team.

This role requires strong field construction experience (5–8 years), travel up to 50%, and proven ability to manage crews, safety plans, change orders, subcontracting, and cost forecasting to ensure on-time delivery and high quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred.
• 5–8 years field CM experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and communication to coordinate remote teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Bluebeam Revu; CMiC a plus.
• Solid understanding of contract law and project accounting.

Responsibilities

• Plan sequencing, crew sizes, productivity goals and monthly labor spend.
• Develop safety plans and implement procedures with the superintendent.
• Oversee billing to optimize cash flow and manage pay cycles.
• Present and negotiate change orders with owner for timely resolution.
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases; ensure timely buyout.
