Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an EPC Project Manager for utility-scale solar projects, based on a full-time, on-site role in Newbern, AL. You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management across large labor crews, coordinating with the superintendent and owners to protect scope and schedule.

Expect extensive travel (≥50%) to remote locations and strong emphasis on safety and cost control. You will lead a team, supervise subcontractors, and manage procurement, ensuring timely buyout,

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Field construction management experience (5-8 years).
• Leadership ability to manage diverse teams in remote environments.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office; familiarity with industry tools such as Bluebeam Revu; CMiC a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee large self-performed scopes with substantial labor crews.
• Develop safety plans and implement safety procedures.
• Oversee project billings to maximize cash flow and minimize pay cycles.
• Schedule and cost control, procurement and estimating within project controls.
• Maintain timely and accurate reporting on cost forecasting and EOC; manage project risks.
