Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an EPC Project Manager to oversee utility-scale solar and related infrastructure projects. The role is full-time, on-site in Plymouth, NC, with significant travel and responsibility for planning, budgeting, buyout, scheduling, and risk management.

You’ll lead a diverse project team, ensure safety compliance, manage billings, and drive timely project delivery while maintaining high-quality standards and client communication.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Field construction management experience (5-8 years).
• Strong leadership and remote team coordination.
• Proficiency with MS Office and industry tools (Bluebeam Revu, CMiC).
• Understanding of contract law and project accounting.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost control, procurement, and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage self-performed scopes with large labor crews.
• Develop safety plans and implement safety procedures.
• Oversee project billings and optimize cash flow.
• Present and negotiate change orders with owner.
• Negotiate subcontract and material procurements.
• Set up job procedures for buyout, drawings, and deliveries.
• Keep project on schedule and report cost forecasts.
• Mentor project team and ensure policy compliance.
• Review contract terms and document significant events.
• Direct preconstruction activities and subcontract bids.
• Mitigate project risk with mitigation plans.
