Job summary

ADT is seeking a results-oriented Tech Engineer Team Manager in Uniontown, OH to lead a 10–15 strong team of Tech Engineers with hybrid sales and technical responsibilities.

You will drive customer-focused outcomes, coach performance, recruit and onboard new engineers, and execute programs to grow market share while ensuring top-tier installation and service experiences for ADT customers.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of people leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment.
• Proven track record of building high-performing, customer-centric teams.
• Experience managing customer-facing team members in a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and manage the activities of the High-Volume Tech Engineer (TE) Design Specialists work force for a designated geographic footprint.
• Train, Mentor, develop, motivate, and coach Tech Engineers to generate leads and upsell equipment.
• Cultivate relationships between new customers and the ADT brand and product portfolio; communicate ADT and Smart Home solutions.
• Participate in recruiting activities to hire new Tech Engineers as required.
• Formulate a sound business plan to provide cost-efficient service for targeted growth.
• Conduct team huddles and staff meetings to coach TEs on policies, procedures, and metrics.
• Conduct regular coaching and performance conversations with Tech Engineers.
• Maintain high-quality and timely job completions for maximum retention.
• Model and champion ADT values and a safe work environment.
