Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting seeks a Site Superintendent – Critical Infrastructure in Texas to lead field operations for hyperscale data center projects. You will supervise on-site labor, coordinate trades, and act as the main STC representative with GCs and owners.

You will oversee safety, scheduling, QA/QC, and commissioning work while driving risk mitigation and timely project delivery on 40–200 MW facilities.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of field supervision in mission-critical or hyperscale construction.
• Experience supervising multi-trade sites and managing subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, safety, quality control, and commissioning workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site field operations and supervise labor, subcontractors, and partner firms.
• Coordinate daily activities across electrical, mechanical, automation, controls, and related trades.
• Serve as primary on-site representative to GC superintendents and owner reps.
• Lead daily coordination meetings and site walks to maintain flow and quality.
• Enforce safety standards and stop-work when necessary to protect schedule and safety.
