Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting is seeking a Site Superintendent – Critical Infrastructure in Texas to lead field operations on hyperscale data center projects (40 MW to 200 MW). You will supervise on-site labor, subcontractors, and partner firms, serving as the primary STC representative to GC superintendents, owner reps, and authorities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in field leadership on mission-critical or hyperscale construction projects.
• Experience supervising multi-trade sites and managing subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, safety, quality control, and commissioning workflows.
• Demonstrated client-facing/site authority and coordination with GC/s owner reps.

Responsibilities

• Lead all STC field operations and supervise on-site labor, subcontractors, and partners.
• Coordinate daily activities across electrical, mechanical, automation, controls, networking, and commissioning trades.
• Ensure safety, schedule, and quality across the full lifecycle from installation to commissioning.
• Maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules and align with GC master schedules.
• Enforce QA/QC standards and manage field progress, productivity, and risks.
• Represent STC professionally during site walks and executive reviews.
