Smart Tech Contracting is seeking a Site Superintendent – Critical Infrastructure in Texas. You will lead on-site operations for hyperscale and colocation data center projects, supervise labor and subcontractors, coordinate across trades, and serve as the face of STC to GC superintendents and owner representatives.

The role requires 8–10+ years in mission-critical construction, a degree in construction management or engineering, and proficiency with Procore or BIM 360.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in field supervision, site leadership, or superintendent roles within mission-critical, hyperscale, or complex MEP construction environments.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Proficiency with construction documentation, schedules, and digital field tools (e.g., Procore, BIM 360).

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site field operations and supervise labor, subcontractors, and partner firms.
• Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules aligned with GC master schedule; oversee installation, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Enforce QA/QC standards and ensure work complies with drawings and specs; manage safety and risk on site.
• Represent STC professionally during site walks and executive reviews with owners and commissioning authorities.
• Complete tasks on time and within budget.
