Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to define and influence reliability across enterprise platforms. You will lead resiliency reviews, mentor engineers, and drive incident response for mission-critical services.

You will architect automation with Python, Shell, and Ansible, work across SD-WAN/SDN, and apply data-driven analytics to improve service levels while maintaining security and governance.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in SRE concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, and security practices.
• Fluent in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .Net.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to improve SRE workflows with strong validation habits.
• Ability to evaluate AI-assisted operational recommendations for correctness and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead resiliency design reviews and guide complex problems to actionable work.
• Drive major incidents, RCA, and post-incident learning to prevent recurrence.
• Architect automation using Python, Shell, and Ansible with guardrails and validation pipelines.
• Collaborate across SD-WAN/SDN, routing, and security services to embed SRE practices.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across platforms and teams.
• Own reliability for mission-critical services and drive incident response and readiness reviews.
