Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to advance reliability and operational efficiency within the Corporate Technology and Enterprise Technology Team in Jersey City. You will apply advanced expertise to shape incident management and the end‑to‑end software lifecycle, design and implement infrastructure components, and drive improvements across large, multi‑team environments.

You will lead AI‑assisted reliability initiatives, validate outputs with strong data sensitivity

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes.
Experience using enterprise‑authorized AI capabilities to improve reliability workflows.

Responsibilities

Identify and solve high‑complexity problems and drive improvements.
Validate AI‑assisted recommendations before applying changes, respecting data sensitivity requirements.
Lead large projects, align teams, and remove roadblocks to deliver reliable software releases.
Design, manage, and implement infrastructure components to improve reliability and efficiency.
Influence management through clear recommendations and measurable reliability outcomes.
Promote reuse of AI‑assisted reliability workflows across SDLC/toolchains with strong traceability and security controls.
