Job summary

Colonna’s Shipyard is seeking a Services Electrician Supervisor to support the day shift in the Temporary Services Department in Norfolk, VA. You will train and assign semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel to meet production goals in ship repair and fabrication.

Role requires onsite work in Norfolk, potential overtime, and occasional travel. Strong emphasis on safety, quality, and adherence to contract requirements and drawings.

Qualifications

• Requires 6 years in the electrical trade with supervisory experience.
• Ability to read project specifications, drawings, and technical references.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine and non-routine production duties to support operational goals.
• Perform skilled electrical tasks in maintenance, repair, installation, and construction.
• Support daily production activities and ensure teams have necessary tools and procedures.
• Assist management with timekeeping, training, performance coaching and supervision.
• Develop action plans to meet safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives.
