Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Sugar Land, TX. You will lead restaurant operations during shifts, mentor team members, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding MOD standards.

The role emphasizes training, deployment, and adherence to processes. Compensation includes base hourly wage plus tips; meal benefits and comprehensive benefits are provided. You will report to the GM and work at least 18 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead others.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes and standards, coaching with compassion.
• Calm presence during high-volume periods.
• Must obtain food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days of start date where required by law.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Available to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires and program rollouts.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet restaurant goals.
• Ensure food safety standards in Back of House and Front of House.
• Respond to squad member and guest concerns and escalate as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift responsibly, including refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Monitor communications from the Slice and other sources for squad effectiveness.
