Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during shifts, training new hires and ensuring outstanding guest experiences.

You will deploy the squad, coach the team, and model MOD’s purpose while adapting to changing needs. As part of the leadership team, you will guide staff, ensure safety standards, manage cash, inventory, and communicate with the GM to keep restaurant goals on track.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train, or lead informally.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Enforce processes and coach with compassion.
• Calm presence during high volume periods.
• Obtain food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days where required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts totaling 18 hours weekly, including peak times.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct squad deployment to support guests and daily operations.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and roll out new programs.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment including online ordering and catering.
• Ensure food safety using MOD tools and standards.
• Listen, address, and resolve squad or guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within shift, making change and refunds when required.
• Take inventory and place orders with GM support.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Stay updated on information from Slice for squad effectiveness.
