Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a warehouse operations professional to manage packing, inventory control, and shipping services. You will oversee the deployment of contracted services to meet SLAs and KPIs, and collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams.

You will lead daily facility activities, including compliance, receiving, kitting, order processing, procurement, staffing, safety, security, and profitability, while maintaining focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience operating material handling equipment (MHE) and RF scanners with high accuracy.
• Proficiency with a warehouse management system (WMS) for inbound/outbound activities.
• Ability to forecast, allocate, and adjust inventory and costs.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance, and government regulations.
• Ability to mentor and guide less experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide package handling, inventory control, and shipping services to customers

Job description

• Provide package handling, inventory control, and shipping services to customers
• Manage delivery or deployment of contracted services to meet or exceed SLAs and KPIs
• Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal support groups
• Manage daily facility activities including government compliance, inbound receipts, kitting, order processing, supplier procurement, inventory, staffing, inspections, employee engagement, development, safety, security, and profitability
• Perform financial activities including forecasting, allocations, adjustments, and annual business planning
• Retain and strengthen customer relationships, including face-to-face customer service
• Identify and recommend operational improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities
• Support field stocking locations, agent locations across multiple geographies, and the provider network

Requirements

• The ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Utilize various pieces of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including pallet movers, stand up forklifts, high lift reach trucks, and order pickers up to heights of 28 feet
• Utilize radio frequency (RF) scanners to electronically perform warehouse activities
• Perform all tasks using defined job processes with a high level of accuracy and minimal supervision
• Utilize a computer-based warehouse management system (WMS) for outbound, inbound, and inventory control activities
• Ensure transaction accuracy and safety and quality compliance
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Successful completion of a background check
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
