Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Expert (SLP Expert) to lead End-to-End SLP services across assigned operations. Reporting to the SLP Cluster Manager, you will drive security outcomes and partner with multiple teams to protect people and assets.

The role requires investigations, data-driven root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement, with up to 50% travel in the US. It covers 24/7 operations and shifts, including nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 4+ years of relevant professional or military experience.
• 2+ years of security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement, or 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis using data to define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively monitor and report outcome for systems and tools that generate data indicating site/region opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare prompt reports of theft, fraud, and workplace violence/critical incidents.
• Utilize continuous improvement to drive process enhancements and increase efficiency.
• Serve as department's liaison and security/crisis management subject matter expert keeping site leadership informed on department's key issues, strategies and the performance.
• Identify, promote and implement security best practices while effectively partnering with internal customers to evaluate current and future security needs, processes, and initiatives, incident response planning, facilitating and management.
• This role covers 24/7 operations and must be able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
