Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Expert (SLP Expert) to lead end-to-end SLP services across assigned operational business units, reporting to the SLP Cluster Manager. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 4+ years of relevant professional or military experience.
• 2+ years of security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement, or 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis to define mitigating actions while complying with legal and ethical standards.
• Monitor and report outcomes for systems and tools that indicate site or region opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare prompt reports of theft, fraud, and workplace violence/critical incidents.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance security processes and efficiency.
• Serve as liaison and security/crisis management expert, keeping site leadership informed on issues and strategies.
• Identify, promote and implement security best practices and coordinate with internal customers on needs, processes, and initiatives.
• Travel domestically up to 50% when applicable.
• Lift up to 49 pounds; stand/walk for long shifts; work in variable conditions and heights; 24/7 operations.
• Support 24/7 operations and work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
