Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Expert (SLP Expert) to lead End-to-End SLP services across assigned units. This role reports to the SLP Cluster Manager and entails 24/7 operations, with up to 50% travel.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree or 4+ years in security, loss prevention, or related fields, and 2+ years of relevant experience, plus strong data analytics capabilities. Base compensation is disclosed for Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years in security, loss prevention, or related field.
• Experience with metric-based continuous improvement.
• Experience with physical security systems and vendors.
• 2+ years in risk management, audit, data analytics, or supply chain.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel pivot tables and charts.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and perform root-cause analysis with data-driven actions.
• Monitor systems/tools reporting site/region opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and report theft, incidents, and workplace violence.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Serve as security liaison and crisis management expert to leadership.
• Collaborate with internal customers to assess security needs and incident planning.
• Domestic travel up to 50% when applicable.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Support 24/7 operations and multiple high-impact initiatives.
• Deliver loss-prevention education across teams.
