Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Expert (SLP Expert) to lead E2E SLP services across assigned operational units within Worldwide Operations Security. This role reports to the SLP Cluster Manager and drives continuous improvement, incident response planning, and security best practices with internal customers.

This position requires flexibility for 24/7 operations, varying shifts, and up to 50% domestic travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 4+ years of relevant professional or military experience.
• 2+ years of security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement, or 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis using data to define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively monitor and report outcome for systems and tools that generate data indicating site/region opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare prompt reports of theft, fraud, and workplace violence/critical incidents.
