Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Expert (SLP Expert) to lead E2E SLP services across assigned business units. The role reports to the SLP Cluster Manager and requires readiness for 24/7 operations and all shift patterns, including nights and weekends.

The position involves identifying vulnerabilities, conducting investigations, and partnering with security vendors and internal customers to improve safety and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 4+ years of relevant professional or military experience.
• 2+ years of security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement, or 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis using data to define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively monitor and report outcome for systems and tools that generate data indicating site/region opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare prompt reports of theft, fraud, and workplace violence/critical incidents.
• Utilize continuous improvement to drive process enhancements and increase efficiency.
• Serve as department’s liaison and security/crisis management subject matter expert keeping site leadership informed on department’s key issues, strategies and the performance.
• Identify, promote and implement security best practices while effectively partnering with internal customers to evaluate current and future security needs, processes, and initiatives, incident response planning, facilitating and management.
