Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Security and Loss Prevention Expert to lead end-to-end SLP services across assigned units. You will guide investigations, monitor systems, and drive improvements while coordinating with leadership across sites.

This role requires handling high-impact projects and, at times, travel up to 50% regionally to ensure safety and compliance. The position covers 24/7 operations with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, and involves collaboration with external

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 4+ years of relevant professional or military experience.
• 2+ years of security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement, or 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and work on various shifts in variable environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis using data to define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively monitor and report outcomes for systems and tools that indicate site/region opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare prompt reports of theft, fraud, and workplace violence/critical incidents.
• Utilize continuous improvement to drive process enhancements and increase efficiency.
• Serve as department’s liaison and security/crisis management SME, keeping leadership informed on issues and performance.
• Identify, promote and implement security best practices while evaluating current and future security needs with internal customers.
