Job summary

Amazon seeks a Security and Loss Prevention Expert to lead End-to-End security services across operating units. The role reports to the SLP Cluster Manager and supports WWOS initiatives in safeguarding assets and people.

The SLP Expert drives initiatives, analyzes data for vulnerabilities, and partners with leaders to implement security strategies. This role requires cross-site collaboration and 50% travel domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent or 4+ years of related experience.
• 2+ years in security, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement.
• Experience in continuous improvement and data-driven security.
• Experience with security vendors and physical security systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis using data to define mitigating actions.
• Actively monitor and report outcomes for systems and tools showing opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare reports of theft, fraud, and incidents.
• Utilize continuous improvement to drive process enhancements and efficiency.
• Liaise with leadership as security/crisis management SME and strategic adviser.
• Promote and implement security best practices with internal customers.
• Domestic travel up to 50% of the time when applicable.
• Lift up to 49 pounds; stand/walk up to 12 hours; work in variable environments.
• Role covers 24/7 operations including nights, weekends, and holidays.
