Job summary

The Water Grill in Santa Monica is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily front-of-house operations and partner with the kitchen to ensure exceptional guest service.

You will supervise a team, manage scheduling, training, and inventory, while upholding the brand’s standards of hospitality and product quality. Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 2 years of managerial experience.
• College degree in business or hotel/restaurant management preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good longevity in current and past positions.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and move through tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations and guest relations.
• Be active across all restaurant areas during service periods.
• Manage financial operations including cash handling and vendor relations.
• Handle human resources tasks for the crew and scheduling.
• Forecast product needs based on inventory.
• Participate in interviewing and selecting new crew.
• Drive sales and marketing services through incentives.
