• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 4 years of relevant scheduling/healthcare experience required.
• 6+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR and scheduling software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Schedule return appointments and other appointments as assigned.
• Assure accurate appointment, demographic and insurance information is gathered.
• Coordinate requests and satisfy patient/physician needs in a single transaction.
• Resolve routine and complex customer problems or direct to the appropriate team.
• Communicate regularly with clinical staff and department teammates to meet needs.
• Create a positive first impression in all interactions.
• Provide orientation for new staff and student interns; assist with onboarding.
• Educate department standards, policies, and procedures and provide feedback as necessary.
