Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator Lead to manage physician appointment scheduling, OR/admission and registration processes. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant experience required; 6+ years preferred.
• Experience with scheduling, registration, and insurance information preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule return and other appointments.
• Ensure accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Coordinate physician and staff requests in one transaction.
• Educate staff on standards, policies and procedures.
• Provide orientation for new staff and interns.
