Job summary

The Lead roles will assist management with day-to-day operations, keep accurate records, and coordinate referrals and imaging as needed. A strong customer service background and proficiency with EMR software are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Problem-solving and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for confidential situations.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors, registers and checks in, updates demographics and insurance.
• Answers calls, relays messages, and communicates with physician offices.
• Performs check-out duties including co-pays, scheduling, and after-visit summaries.
• Monitors patient wait times and alerts appropriate staff when delays occur.
• Opens and routes mail, distributes documents, and records program data.
• Requests referrals and medical records from referring offices.
• Schedules appointments as directed.
• Maintains cash drawer and reconciles daily deposits as assigned.
• Contacts insurance companies for registrations or pre-certifications.
• Performs functions using job-related software and systems.
• Travel may be required to support other clinics.
• Demonstrates professionalism, punctuality, and teamwork.
• Other duties or special projects as assigned.
