Mohegan Sun in Montville, CT is seeking a Restaurant Shift Manager to assist the Food and Beverage Operations Manager in daily outlet operations and to uphold service standards. This role emphasizes supervising supervisors and staff, coordinating schedules, controlling inventory, and contributing to payroll preparation as part of achieving P&L goals.

Strong communication, budgeting, and beverage/service knowledge are valued in a fast-paced casino setting with opportunities to support marketing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business Administration required.
Three years of experience in a high-volume F&B or casino environment with at least one year in a supervisory role in a gourmet restaurant.
In lieu of a degree, two years of supervisory experience in a high-volume or gourmet-themed restaurant.

Responsabilités

Works with the F&B Operations Manager to meet established P&L guidelines.
Assists hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining and scheduling of supervisors and line staff.
Responsible for requisition and inspection of all products and maintaining inventory par levels.
Assists in payroll preparation.
Maintains health, safety and sanitation standards per guidelines.
Promotes culinary concepts in marketing and PR efforts.
Maintains relationships with tenant partners and supports restaurant marketing.
