Job summary

Mohegan Sun seeks a Beverage Operations Manager to oversee daily beverage outlets, including casino floor beverage operations, cocktail lounges and restaurant service bars. You will supervise Beverage Supervisors and staff, ensure consistency with service standards, and manage beverage control and inventory.

Hires requires high-volume casino experience, at least three years in beverage, one year in supervision, and strong knowledge of liquor laws, POS systems, and training programs.

Qualifications

• Three years of beverage experience in a high volume casino environment.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service techniques and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of Beverage Supervisors and staff to ensure adherence to standards.
• Ensures efficient beverage service through beverage control and inventory maintenance.
• Assists in training, evaluating and scheduling of the beverage staff.
• Enforces state liquor laws including identification procedures, monitoring intoxication, and shutoff procedures.
• Assists with coaching programs to enhance staff skills.
• Collaborates with other departments to maintain health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
