Job summary

Mohegan Sun in Montville, CT, is seeking a guest-focused server to deliver exceptional hospitality in our restaurant outlets and hotel. You will take orders, enter them into the POS, upsell, coordinate table service, handle payments, and support room-service delivery as needed.

Responsibilities

• Takes guest orders and accurately enters them into the POS system.
• Actively upsells products and uses endorsements at service opportunities.
• Coordinates all food and beverage service at the table including pre-setting, serving and pre-bussing.
• Handles all payments accurately per established check tendering procedures.
• Prepares and breaks down wait stations in accordance with dining room standards.
• Completes side work and maintains shift responsibilities.
• Delivers food and beverage to guest rooms as needed.
• Removes trays and tables from rooms and hotel tower.
• Assists in maintaining the outlet cleanliness.
• Assists in arranging room and setting tables for shifts and events.
• Performs opening and closing duties.
