Job summary

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) in Burleson, TX is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards, training and coaching the team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This hands-on role oversees daily operations in the RGM's absence, drives performance, safety, and food quality, and helps with talent recruitment.

It offers a 50-hour work week with standard pay for 40 hours and time-and-a-half for 10 hours, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant/retail management experience.
• Assist with P&L management by following cash control and inventory.
• Ensure all employees receive proper training and resources.
• Champion KFC’s culture and values, promoting equity and belonging.
• Lead efforts in recognition, collaboration and motivation.
• Identify and recruit exceptional talent, supporting the RGM in hiring.
• Strong communication for performance appraisals and disciplinary actions.
• Adhere to corporate policies, procedures and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by modeling the KFC Connect Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee team members' adherence to shift responsibilities and maintain high food safety standards; take charge in the RGM's absence.
• Collaborate with the RGM on performance assessment and issue resolution; escalate where needed.
• Assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring Team Members with a culture of equity and belonging.
• Act like an owner by assisting with P&L management, including cash control, security procedures, inventory and labor management.
• Review financial reports and take actions to optimize performance.
• Support the RGM in facility maintenance and health and safety standards.
