Job summary

KBP Brands, owner of KFC restaurants, seeks an Assistant General Manager in Texas. You’ll lead, train, schedule, and coach your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high standards of quality and service.

Oversee daily operations, inventory, cash handling, safety, and cost controls to maximize profitability, while ensuring 18+ eligibility, flexibility to close shifts, and physical endurance for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, and operate restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and coach your team to create a positive and productive work environment.
• Deliver excellent guest service and resolve issues quickly to ensure memorable dining experiences.
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory, cash handling, and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain KFC’s standards for food quality, preparation, and presentation.
• Enforce safety and cleanliness standards to provide a safe environment for guests and employees.
• Manage labor and food costs to maximize profitability.
• Anticipate and resolve challenges that arise during your shift.
