Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Grapevine, TX is seeking a General Manager/Operating Partner to lead daily operations, manage staff, and drive guest satisfaction. You will recruit, train, coach, and schedule the team, while controlling costs and ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities include forecasting labor and food needs, maintaining records, and coordinating with vendors. A strong leader with restaurant experience and excellent communication is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
• Experience: at least 3 years in restaurant management (QSR preferred).
• Skills: labor/employee laws, strong communication, leadership and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, coach, schedule and manage staff.
• Direct all drive-in operations to ensure guest satisfaction and service quality.
• Oversee opening/closing duties and guest/employee issue handling.
• Forecast and manage food, labor, inventory and costs to maximize efficiency.
• Lead team meetings and maintain operational records and reports.
• Develop and implement local marketing and business performance plans.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies and safety standards.
• Maintain sanitation and regular cleaning duties as required.
