Job summary

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to provide direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will collaborate with Respiratory Department staff, program managers, and operations to deliver equipment, services, and training.

The role involves fitting PAP devices, following up with patients, maintaining equipment, documenting care and compliance with HIPAA, and mentoring junior staff. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Medicare-certified HME environment preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services is a plus.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with appropriate equipment and masks.
• Conduct follow-up calls and visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and complete required paperwork and forms.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and simple repairs per policy and guidelines.
• Collaborate with supervisors on performance metrics and process improvements.
