Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will train staff, troubleshoot respiratory equipment, and ensure accurate documentation and billing support while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

The role requires clinical familiarity, strong communication, and the ability to travel within the service area as needed. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Medicare-certified HME environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff to provide equipment instruction and service.
• Set up PAP equipment and fit masks with clear instructions.
• Perform patient follow-up calls and visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Report equipment hazards and complete required documentation accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of current Respiratory Programs and products and processes.
