Job summary

Eaton’s North Amerca Sales division seeks a Senior Outside Sales Engineer - Residential in Grapevine, TX. This onsite role covers a 50-mile radius around Grapevine, Austin, and San Antonio, and reports to the Sales department.

You will build relationships with contractors, channel partners, and homebuilders; execute territory plans; and provide technical support while promoting Eaton’s products and services. Travel up to 25% and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three years of experience in B2B sales, channel sales, business development, account management, sales engineering or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Market and sell Eaton’s electrical products and services in the Residential market.
• Manage all aspects of customer relationships with distributors, contractors, end users and specifiers.
• Coordinate sales with distributors and customers to achieve goals and optimize sales volume.
• Provide timely order entry information and technical support; relay market intelligence to product divisions.
• Plan territory sales, events, and presentations to drive demand and growth.
• Utilize Salesforce and other sales tools to manage pipeline, territory performance, and forecasting.
