Job summary

Eaton’s North America Sales division is seeking a Senior Outside Sales Engineer - Residential within 50 miles of Morrisville, NC, Charlotte, NC, or Greenville, SC to market and sell Eaton’s electrical products and services in the residential market. You will manage the customer relationship, provide technical support, and collaborate with distributors, end users, and specifiers to achieve sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three years of experience in B2B sales, channel sales, business development, account management, sales engineering, product management, or related roles.
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time.
• No immigration sponsorship is offered for this position.
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Morrisville/Charlotte, NC or Greenville, SC.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key single-family contractors, channel partners, and homebuilders.
• Identify and activate high-potential installers and distribution partners.
• Support and grow installers and channel partners to increase engagement and sales.
• Execute territory sales plans to achieve sales and growth objectives.
• Conduct customer visits, events, and site visits to strengthen relationships and drive demand.
• Collaborate with product lines and internal stakeholders to provide customer-centric solutions.
• Utilize market data to influence pricing and sales strategy.
• Plan promotional events and presentations to promote Eaton’s position.
