Eaton's North America Sales division seeks a Senior Outside Sales Engineer - Residential within 50 miles of Morrisville, NC, Charlotte, NC or Greenville, SC. This role markets and sells electrical products to residential customers, coordinating with distributors and end users to meet sales goals.

The successful candidate will leverage technical expertise, build strong relationships with contractors and channel partners, and execute territory plans while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three years in B2B sales, channel sales, business development, account management, sales engineering, product management, or related roles.
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time.
• No immigration sponsorship or relocation offered; must reside within 50 miles of Morrisville, NC, Charlotte, NC, or Greenville, SC.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with single-family contractors, channel partners, and homebuilders.
• Identify and activate high-potential installers and distribution partners.
• Support and grow installers and channel partners to increase engagement and sales performance.
• Execute territory sales plans and business development strategies to achieve objectives.
• Conduct customer visits, field events, trade shows, and training to strengthen relationships and drive demand.
• Coordinate with product lines, operations, and internal stakeholders to provide customer-centric solutions.
• Collect market intelligence to drive data-based decisions and inform product divisions.
• Provide accurate planning, quotations, and technical support; influence purchasing decisions.
