Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently seeking a Superintendent to manage all functions of the job site related to home construction, from permit to closing, while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time completion.

You will coordinate subcontractors, communicate with homeowners, and maintain adherence to company standards on multiple homes within designated communities. The role requires strong scheduling, budget awareness, and field leadership, with the ability to drive project milestones and uphold

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction documents, drawings, specs, and scopes of work.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to manage costs and budgets.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license to travel between communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule to deliver high-quality homes on time and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors for each phase and ensure code compliance and workmanship.
• Complete homes from planning through occupancy and satisfy contract obligations.
• Inspect subcontractors and authorize payments after thorough inspections.
• Maintain strong communication with customers and address concerns during construction.
