Job summary
Eaton's Critical Power Solutions is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to perform on-site repairs, start-ups, and preventative maintenance for UPS systems in the Dallas area. This remote position requires daily travel to customer sites with occasional overnight stays; a company vehicle is provided.
Qualified candidates will have 5+ years installing and maintaining UPS systems, batteries, and power electronics, with 480V three-phase experience.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical or engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- 5+ years installing, troubleshooting and maintaining UPS systems, battery technologies, power electronics, or related electrical power equipment.
- 5+ years with 480V three-phase electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance.
- Travel daily to customer sites in company-provided vehicle; overnight stays as needed.
- Lead projects, mentor technicians, or serve as a technical lead on customer engagements.
- Comply with safety and regulatory requirements; participate in safety audits.
