Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division seeks a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join our team. This role is based in the United States with a home-office setup and daily travel to customer sites, plus occasional overnight stays.

A company vehicle is provided for travel. The successful candidate will perform on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability of UPS systems, batteries, and power

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience including relevant coursework and internship experience.
Must have a current, unrestricted driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
Subject to background checks and drug screenings as required by the client.
Daily travel to customer sites using an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
Provide support for customer needs outside the region within the USA for at least three weeks per quarter.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance.
Work with customers as trusted advisors to safeguard operations and maximize uptime.
Travel to customer sites regularly and comply with safety policies and procedures.
