Qualus is seeking a Lead Relay Field Technician in Greenville, SC to calibrate, install, maintain, and repair protective relays and related equipment. This role supports the electrical grid through testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting substation and SCADA systems in a field service context.

The responsibilities include interpreting drawings, developing test plans, performing relay calibration and verification, and mentoring junior staff. Strong communication and safety focus are required.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of field experience in commissioning, panel checkout, relay calibration, and substation relaying.
• Experience in protection and control schemes, SCADA/Fault Data/SER integration is a plus.
• Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and test equipment operation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead commissioning, scheduling, and test activities with safety protocols.
• Interpret substation drawings and prepare test plans and isolation procedures.
• Perform relay testing, calibration, and verification of alarms and metering.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior field service personnel.
• Lead small project teams and serve as SME for protective relaying.
