Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Lead Shift Maintenance Mechanic to support operations at the Millville Quarry in Millville, WV. The role involves installing and assembling new machines, maintaining preventive schedules, and ensuring safe, efficient repairs.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience with heavy industrial equipment, strong leadership, and solid knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems. MSHA compliance and a safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Technical degree or certification in mechanical/industrial maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining heavy industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily maintenance activities, assigning work to maintenance personnel and ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and other equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system failures to minimize downtime.
