Job summary

Amrize, a leading supplier of construction materials, seeks a Lead Shift Maintenance Mechanic for the Millville Quarry in Millville, WV. You will lead maintenance activities, install and commission equipment, and manage a preventive maintenance program to keep production running efficiently.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial maintenance, strong leadership, and solid knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining heavy industrial equipment.
• Experience in aggregates, mining, quarry or similar production environment.
• Strong leadership to supervise and mentor a maintenance team.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Familiar with MSHA regulations and safe maintenance practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours and handle physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance activities and assign work to the maintenance team.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair quarry equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical failures to minimize downtime.
• Schedule planned shutdowns to maximize plant productivity.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders and inventory.
