Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Lead Shift Maintenance Mechanic to support operations at the Millville Quarry in Millville, WV. The role entails installing and assembling new machines, and maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule for inspections, servicing and testing equipment.

Hours typically run 6:00am–11:00pm and vary with business needs. The candidate will lead maintenance activities, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or cert preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy industrial equipment.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities; promote safety culture.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily maintenance activities, assign work to maintenance personnel and ensure repairs are completed safely and on schedule.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on quarry equipment including crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps and motors.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system failures to minimize downtime.
• Inspect plant equipment and identify potential issues before failures occur.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule maintenance and planned shutdowns; maintain records and inventory.
